Press Regulations<\/h2>\n\n\n<h3>1. General provisions<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nThese Regulations define the rules for the electronic provision of services available within CPS Press, in particular the rules for setting up an account, concluding and performing subscription agreements, using publications and digital materials, making payments, canceling subscriptions and submitting complaints.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe Service Provider is B\u0142a\u017cej Cholewi\u0144ski CPS, ul. \u017bwirki i Wigury 8\/4, 34-100 Wadowice, NIP 8871709183, operating CPS Press, hereinafter referred to as &quot;CPS Press&quot; or &quot;Service Provider&quot;.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nCPS Press can be contacted at:\n<a href=\"mailto:press@cpspress.pl\">press@cpspress.pl<\/a>\nand by phone number\n<a href=\"tel:+48788553740\">788 553 740<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe Regulations are made available free of charge in a way that allows them to be read, saved and recorded before concluding the contract.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nPolish law applies to the use of CPS Press, subject to mandatory provisions protecting consumers that may apply due to their place of habitual residence.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>2. Definitions<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nFor the purposes of the Regulations, the following terms shall have the following meanings:\n<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n    <li><strong>CPS Press<\/strong> \u2013 an online expert publication and service providing text, audio and other digital content.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>User<\/strong> \u2013 a person using the CPS Press website.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Subscriber<\/strong> \u2013 a user who has concluded a paid subscription agreement.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Account<\/strong> \u2013 an individual user account enabling login and access to the materials covered by the purchased plan.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Subscription<\/strong> \u2013 paid, renewable access to CPS Press materials according to the selected plan.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Digital content<\/strong> \u2013 in particular text publications, audio materials, reporting and analytical materials and other content made available electronically.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Consumer<\/strong> \u2013 a natural person performing a legal act not directly related to his or her business or professional activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>\nThe provisions relating to consumers also apply to natural persons concluding a contract directly related to their business activity, if the content of that contract indicates that it is not of a professional nature for them \u2013 to the extent resulting from the applicable provisions.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>3. CPS Press&#039;s range of services<\/h3>\n\n<p>CPS Press provides in particular:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n    <li>expert publications by researchers and practitioners,<\/li>\n    <li>audio versions of selected publications,<\/li>\n    <li>reportage and analytical materials,<\/li>\n    <li>publication archive \u2013 to the extent depending on the selected plan,<\/li>\n    <li>an account enabling management of access to the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>\nThe standard CPS Press publishing model assumes the publication of at least one new expert material per week and additional reportage and analysis material once a month.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nPublication dates, order of materials, titles, authors, and specific topics may be subject to reasonable editorial changes. Such changes should not lead to a material reduction in the scope or value of the benefits resulting from an active subscription.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>4. Technical requirements<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n    <li>a device with Internet access,<\/li>\n    <li>up-to-date web browser,<\/li>\n    <li>active e-mail account,<\/li>\n    <li>technically necessary cookies enabled,<\/li>\n    <li>in the case of audio materials \u2013 a device enabling the reproduction of sound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>\nThe user is responsible for the proper functioning of their own device, software and Internet connection.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>5. User account<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nCreating an account requires providing the data indicated in the form, in particular your name, surname, e-mail address and setting a password.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe User is obliged to provide true and current data and to protect login data against access by third parties.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nEach account is for the personal use of one person. Sharing the account, password, or access to content with third parties is prohibited.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>6. Minors<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nThe independent conclusion of a paid subscription agreement is intended for adults with full legal capacity.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe use of CPS Press by a minor should take place with the consent and under the responsibility of his or her legal representative, in accordance with applicable regulations.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>7. Subscription Plans<\/h3>\n\n<h4>Monthly plan<\/h4>\n\n<p>\nThe monthly plan is priced at PLN 29 per month. The plan provides access to current materials covered by the monthly plan for the duration of the active subscription. The monthly plan does not include the full CPS Press archive, unless otherwise specifically stated in the offer.\n<\/p>\n\n<h4>Annual plan<\/h4>\n\n<p>\nThe annual plan costs PLN 299 per year. The plan provides access to current publications and the full CPS Press archive for the duration of your active subscription.\n<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"cps-legal-note\">\nPrices shown are the final prices applicable to the customer at the time of ordering. Immediately prior to purchase, the customer will be informed of the selected plan, price, billing period, and automatic renewal policy.\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3>8. Conclusion of the contract and payment<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n    <li>choosing a plan,<\/li>\n    <li>providing the required data,<\/li>\n    <li>acceptance of the required conditions,<\/li>\n    <li>placing an order with an obligation to pay,<\/li>\n    <li>successful payment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>\nPayments are processed by Stripe. Available payment methods, including BLIK, credit cards, or other methods, depend on the current payment methods available on the payment form.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nCPS Press does not receive the user&#039;s full payment card details. Data required to complete the transaction is processed by the payment provider in accordance with their policies.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>9. Access to content<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nOnce payment has been successfully made, access to the materials covered by the selected plan is activated without undue delay.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nAccess lasts until the end of the paid subscription period.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>10. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nMonthly subscriptions automatically renew each month, and annual subscriptions automatically renew each year, until auto-renewal is turned off.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nSubscribers may turn off automatic renewal at any time through their account features or by contacting CPS Press at\n<a href=\"mailto:press@cpspress.pl\">press@cpspress.pl<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nTurning off automatic renewal does not result in losing access until the end of the period already paid for.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>11. Right of withdrawal<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nA consumer concluding a distance contract generally has the right to withdraw from it within 14 days, subject to exceptions arising from applicable regulations.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nCPS Press provides access to digital content immediately after purchase. If the consumer requests that the content be provided before the withdrawal period has expired, they may be asked to provide separate, prior, and express consent and acknowledge the consequences thereof.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>12. Complaints<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nComplaints can be directed to:\n<a href=\"mailto:press@cpspress.pl\">press@cpspress.pl<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nCPS Press considers consumer complaints within the time limits specified in applicable regulations, generally no later than within 14 days from the date of receipt of the complaint.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>13. Copyright<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nThe content of CPS Press, in particular articles, reportage and analytical materials, audio recordings, graphics, photographs, studies and editorial layout are protected by copyright.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nPurchasing a subscription does not transfer copyright. Subscribers only obtain a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the materials within the scope of the purchased plan.\n<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"cps-legal-note\">\nWithout prior consent, it is prohibited in particular to copy entire publications, further distribute them, share audio files, publish materials on other websites, provide access to third parties, systematically download content, scrape, create copies or databases of materials and use them commercially.\n<\/div>\n\n<p>\nYou may also not use CPS Press content to automatically create datasets, train or tune artificial intelligence models or other generative systems without the prior written consent of the applicable copyright holder, to the extent permitted by law.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h3>14. Changes to the Regulations<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nThe Regulations may be changed in particular due to changes in legal provisions, the method of providing services, the functionality of the website, technical operators or the scope of plans.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nChanges that significantly impact an active subscription will be communicated to users in advance.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"prywatnosc\" class=\"cps-legal-main-section\">\n\n<div class=\"cps-legal-section-number\">\n02\n<\/div>\n\n<h2>Privacy Policy and GDPR<\/h2>\n\n<h3>1. Data storage<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nThe data is stored for the duration of the contract, and then for the period required by tax, accounting and consumer regulations, and for the period necessary to pursue or defend claims.\n<\/p>\n\n<h3>6. Stripe<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nDuring payments, Stripe may use technical mechanisms necessary to complete transactions, ensure security, and prevent fraud.\n<\/p>\n\n<h3>4.
