CPS Press Regulations
1. General provisions
These Regulations define the rules for the electronic provision of services available within CPS Press, in particular the rules for setting up an account, concluding and performing subscription agreements, using publications and digital materials, making payments, canceling subscriptions and submitting complaints.
The Service Provider is Błażej Cholewiński CPS, ul. Żwirki i Wigury 8/4, 34-100 Wadowice, NIP 8871709183, operating CPS Press, hereinafter referred to as "CPS Press" or "Service Provider".
CPS Press can be contacted at: press@cpspress.pl and by phone number 788 553 740.
The Regulations are made available free of charge in a way that allows them to be read, saved and recorded before concluding the contract.
Polish law applies to the use of CPS Press, subject to mandatory provisions protecting consumers that may apply due to their place of habitual residence.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of the Regulations, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
- CPS Press – an online expert publication and service providing text, audio and other digital content.
- User – a person using the CPS Press website.
- Subscriber – a user who has concluded a paid subscription agreement.
- Account – an individual user account enabling login and access to the materials covered by the purchased plan.
- Subscription – paid, renewable access to CPS Press materials according to the selected plan.
- Digital content – in particular text publications, audio materials, reporting and analytical materials and other content made available electronically.
- Consumer – a natural person performing a legal act not directly related to his or her business or professional activity.
The provisions relating to consumers also apply to natural persons concluding a contract directly related to their business activity, if the content of that contract indicates that it is not of a professional nature for them – to the extent resulting from the applicable provisions.
3. CPS Press's range of services
CPS Press provides in particular:
- expert publications by researchers and practitioners,
- audio versions of selected publications,
- reportage and analytical materials,
- publication archive – to the extent depending on the selected plan,
- an account enabling management of access to the website.
The standard CPS Press publishing model assumes the publication of at least one new expert material per week and additional reportage and analysis material once a month.
Publication dates, order of materials, titles, authors, and specific topics may be subject to reasonable editorial changes. Such changes should not lead to a material reduction in the scope or value of the benefits resulting from an active subscription.
4. Technical requirements
- a device with Internet access,
- up-to-date web browser,
- active e-mail account,
- technically necessary cookies enabled,
- in the case of audio materials – a device enabling the reproduction of sound.
The user is responsible for the proper functioning of their own device, software and Internet connection.
5. User account
Creating an account requires providing the data indicated in the form, in particular your name, surname, e-mail address and setting a password.
The User is obliged to provide true and current data and to protect login data against access by third parties.
Each account is for the personal use of one person. Sharing the account, password, or access to content with third parties is prohibited.
6. Minors
The independent conclusion of a paid subscription agreement is intended for adults with full legal capacity.
The use of CPS Press by a minor should take place with the consent and under the responsibility of his or her legal representative, in accordance with applicable regulations.
7. Subscription Plans
Monthly plan
The monthly plan is priced at PLN 29 per month. The plan provides access to current materials covered by the monthly plan for the duration of the active subscription. The monthly plan does not include the full CPS Press archive, unless otherwise specifically stated in the offer.
Annual plan
The annual plan costs PLN 299 per year. The plan provides access to current publications and the full CPS Press archive for the duration of your active subscription.
8. Conclusion of the contract and payment
- choosing a plan,
- providing the required data,
- acceptance of the required conditions,
- placing an order with an obligation to pay,
- successful payment.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Available payment methods, including BLIK, credit cards, or other methods, depend on the current payment methods available on the payment form.
CPS Press does not receive the user's full payment card details. Data required to complete the transaction is processed by the payment provider in accordance with their policies.
9. Access to content
Once payment has been successfully made, access to the materials covered by the selected plan is activated without undue delay.
Access lasts until the end of the paid subscription period.
10. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each month, and annual subscriptions automatically renew each year, until auto-renewal is turned off.
Subscribers may turn off automatic renewal at any time through their account features or by contacting CPS Press at press@cpspress.pl.
Turning off automatic renewal does not result in losing access until the end of the period already paid for.
11. Right of withdrawal
A consumer concluding a distance contract generally has the right to withdraw from it within 14 days, subject to exceptions arising from applicable regulations.
CPS Press provides access to digital content immediately after purchase. If the consumer requests that the content be provided before the withdrawal period has expired, they may be asked to provide separate, prior, and express consent and acknowledge the consequences thereof.
12. Complaints
Complaints can be directed to: press@cpspress.pl.
CPS Press considers consumer complaints within the time limits specified in applicable regulations, generally no later than within 14 days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
13. Copyright
The content of CPS Press, in particular articles, reportage and analytical materials, audio recordings, graphics, photographs, studies and editorial layout are protected by copyright.
Purchasing a subscription does not transfer copyright. Subscribers only obtain a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the materials within the scope of the purchased plan.
You may also not use CPS Press content to automatically create datasets, train or tune artificial intelligence models or other generative systems without the prior written consent of the applicable copyright holder, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to the Regulations
The Regulations may be changed in particular due to changes in legal provisions, the method of providing services, the functionality of the website, technical operators or the scope of plans.
Changes that significantly impact an active subscription will be communicated to users in advance.

2. Scope of data
- name and surname,
- email address,
- account identifiers,
- information about your subscription plan,
- payment status and ID,
- billing information, if required,
- data contained in correspondence,
- technical data necessary for the security and operation of the website.
Full payment card details are not stored by CPS Press. Payments are processed by Stripe.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is processed for the purpose of creating and managing an account, processing subscriptions, processing payments, fulfilling legal obligations, ensuring the security of the website, handling complaints and establishing, pursuing or defending claims.
4. Data recipients

- Google Workspace / Gmail,
- Stripe,
- IT and security service providers, if necessary,
- public authorities, if required by law.
5. Data storage
The data is stored for the duration of the contract, and then for the period required by tax, accounting and consumer regulations, and for the period necessary to pursue or defend claims.
6. User rights

- opposition,
- withdrawal of consent – if it constitutes the basis for processing.
