CPS Press is made up of researchers and practitioners who deal with crime, forensic psychology, criminology, forensic science, security and the functioning of the justice system.
We combine a scientific perspective with the experience of people who professionally research, diagnose and analyse the phenomena they write about.

Clinical psychologist and psychosexology specialist. She scientific and expert activities focus, among other things, on forensic psychology, personality disorders, psychopathy, and the functioning of criminal offenders.

Ewa Gruza
Forensic scientist and expert in document examination. Since 2024, She has chaired the Consultative and Advisory Forum of the National Police Commander-in-Chief. Her areas of expertise include forensics, evidence law, forensic psychology, and the issues surrounding expert opinions.

Woźniakowska-Fajst, Prof. UW
Criminologist and President of the Management Board of the Professor Stanisław Batawia Polish Criminological Society. He conducts research concerning, amongst other things, juvenile delinquency, victimology, female criminality and deviant behaviours.

Prof. Chomczyński, University of Łódź
He has conducted field research on organised crime and drug trafficking in Latin America for years. Member of the Criminology Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. Appointed as an expert witness in proceedings before the US Immigration Court.

Lawyer and security expert with over twenty years of experience in police structures. Court expert in the field of operational and investigative activities and detective work. Specialises in combating organised crime and in operational law-enforcement work.
Dr Joanna
Stojer-Polańska
She investigates the dark figure of crime, disappearances and deaths requiring the consideration of various investigative hypotheses. She also deals with the use of animals in the services. Winner of the 2020 Populariser of Science competition.
Dr Małgorzata
Sitarczyk
Court expert witness in psychology since 2000. For years she also worked as a diagnostic psychologist in the Diagnostic Team of the Juvenile Shelter. She is responsible for education in the fields of forensic and penitentiary psychology in social rehabilitation.

He is responsible for the CPS Press concept, selection of authors and subject areas, and the editorial direction of the publications.
The team of authors will be expanded alongside subsequent subject areas. We invite individuals whose academic record or professional experience enables them to contribute specialist knowledge, context and a practical perspective to the publications.
